Greater Shepparton City Council invites community members to attend the “Keep Your Home Warm This Winter” event with energy auditor and expert Geoff Lodge, taking place Thursday 26 June from 6.30pm at the Shepparton Library.
In Summary
The session will focus on practical strategies to save money on energy bills and to make your home cosier and more comfortable this winter. Geoff will cover topics such as effective insulation and boosting energy efficiency. Attendees will get valuable insights on how to create a more comfortable living space while also lowering energy bills.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session, allowing participants to ask Geoff questions specific to their own homes and situations. Tea and coffee will be provided, and in-person attendees will have an opportunity to participate in the giveaway of door seals - perfect for making homes energy efficient all year round.
The event is free to attend, however bookings are essential. To secure your spot, please phone the Shepparton Library on 1300 374 765 or visit Humanitix.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s Manager Environment, Sharon Terry, encouraged residents to attend the event and secure their spot.
“This is a great opportunity to get some firsthand advice on how to create a more comfortable living space while also reducing your energy bills this winter. Greater Shepparton residents will get their questions answered from an energy expert, while receiving useful tips to practice at home,” she said.
“We invite the community to join this free event. The last energy efficiency event had a wonderful response, so make sure to secure your spot in advance!”
