Greater Shepparton City Council will commence kerbside sandbag collection from Friday 2 December 2022.
If you have sandbags that have been wet or contaminated by flood waters these will be collected from your kerbside. Affected sandbags need to be placed on the kerbside, ready for collection. Please note that any sandbags inside property boundaries will not be collected.
It is recommended that sandbags that have not been wet or flood damaged and are still soft be stored for future use.
Council continues to call for volunteers to support residents in their clean up both of flood damaged household items and sandbags. While residents are encouraged to reach out to friends, family and neighbours, if you still require assistance with clean up including sandbags please make contact with Council either on 58329700 or via floodrecovery@shepparton.vic.gov.au
