The Know Your Council website has been updated with the 2017-18 results.
This website compares Greater Shepparton City Council to other councils in Victoria on a number of key indicators. The website is controlled and managed by Local Government Victoria and shows that in a lot of areas we are performing fairly well and some where we can improve.
Know Your Council is a key initiative to improve the transparency and accountability of council performance to ratepayers and to provide a more meaningful set of information to the public. The framework is made up of 59 measures and a governance and management checklist of 24 items which together build a comprehensive picture of council performance, details of which can be found at the Know Your Council website.
Importantly this website enables you to benchmark and compare Greater Shepparton City Council with similar Councils and all 79 Victorian Councils.
For the details visit the Know Your Council website.
