Landscaping works begin in McLennan Street Mooroopna

Greater Shepparton City Council has commenced works on the next stage of landscaping in McLennan Street Mooroopna in Block 4.

Works include construction of accessible parking bays, replacing pedestrian fencing, new garden beds and plantings, concrete feature paving, raised seating wall, additional street furniture, new irrigation and public lighting upgrade.

Council’s Director Infrastructure Phil Hoare said “We are happy for the next stage of the landscaping in McLennan Street to occur, Council completed the first few stages Blocks 1 and 2 in May 2020. We have been busy working with the community with the designs and it is now great to see the works underway,” said Mr Hoare.

“Throughout the works we ask residents and motorists to be aware of changed traffic and pedestrian paths of travel.  Some car parks will be unavailable during the project works, we thank everyone for their patience during the works.”
