Lenne Street, Mooroopna community drop-in session

Following the flooding event in October and November last year, Greater Shepparton City Council is undertaking an investigation into the Lenne Street Drainage Catchment in Mooroopna.

The investigation works aim to understand the current drainage issues and identify improvement opportunities for the stormwater drainage network within this area. Findings from the investigation will be used to compile a detailed design of future drainage improvement works.

Council is inviting the residents in Lenne Street and surrounding roads (shown within the blue boundary on the plan below) to attend an information drop-in session to discuss drainage issues observed during rain events, and provide any information that may help Council in their investigations.

The drop-in session will be held on Thursday 16 February 2023 from 5.00pm to 7.00pm at the Smyth Reserve Playground area, between Hall Street and Howe Street in Mooroopna. Residents are welcome to drop-in during this timeframe to discuss the proposed investigation and share their observations and experiences.

Residents who are unable to attend are encouraged to discuss their concerns with Council by emailing council@shepparton.vic.gov.au or phoning (03) 5832 9700.
