On Friday, GSCC Mayor Cr Dinny Adem praised the fundraising efforts and co-operation of local community organisations at the official opening of the Mooroopna Community Storage Shed.
Mooroopna clubs Kiwanis, Lions and Rotary colaborated with the Mooroopna Recreation Reserve Committee on the project.
The Mooroopna Community Storage Shed is located next to Pee Wee Young Oval at the Mooroopna Recreation Reserve adjacent to the end of the fire track and provides a secure location for service clubs and recreation reserve user groups to store equipment.
