The newest grants available are:
- Major and Minor Events Grants ($500-$5000 per applicant)
- Small Town Festive Event Grants ($500-$2500 per applicant)
- Australia Day 2021 Grants ($500-$3000 per applicant)
Much like the Community Matching, Community Arts and Our Sporting Future Grants, which opened on 1 July 2020, the grants will have a particular focus on assisting organisations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funding applications for events must take into account COVID-19 restrictions.
The grants opened on Monday 27 July and will close Wednesday 26 August at 5pm.
As one of 29 measures in Stage 2 of the Greater Shepparton Economic Response to COVID-19 Package, Council is aiming to support organisations that have been heavily impacted by the virus, or are supporting other community groups in the recovery phase of the pandemic.
