Greater Shepparton City Council will soon construct a new roundabout at the intersection of Orrvale Road and Poplar Avenue in Shepparton, thanks to funding secured through the Federal Government’s Black Spot Program.
Construction is planned to commence on Wednesday 4 September 2024.
To facilitate the safe construction of the new roundabout, the intersection will be closed for approximately nine weeks, weather permitting.
Due to the full closure of this busy intersection, the community is encouraged to plan alternate travel routes during the construction timeframe. Signed detours will be in place to direct motorists, with Channel Road available throughout the construction period.
For additional information, please phone Council’s Projects team on 5832 9700 or email projects@shepparton.vic.gov.au.
