Greater Shepparton City Council will host a range of musicians roving between hospitality venues in the region to support artists and the wider community.
The funding Council received from the State Government for the Local Councils Outdoor Eating and Entertainment Package, will help support the roving music initiative through November and December.
Greater Shepparton City Council Director Sustainable Development Geraldine Christou said it’s a great initiative for the region.
“Roving music is happening now in the region. In November a musician will rove between hospitality venues that offer outdoor dining on Fridays and Saturdays for lunch between 12pm – 2pm and dinner from 5pm – 9pm. In December, this is scheduled for 7 days a week.”
“It’s such a great way to enhance the outdoor dining experience across the region in a COVID safe way, and create a fantastic atmosphere leading into the festive season,” Ms Christou said.
Keep an eye on Council's Facebook page for updates.
