Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise of changes to on-street parking on Pine Road due to pump station works.
To allow the works to be undertaken safely traffic must be diverted away from the worksite. The on-street parking area in front of residences will be utilised as a lane for traffic at reduced speed.
Works are planned to commence the week beginning Monday 2 May 2022, with expected completion 31 May 2022; weather permitting. The traffic diversion is anticipated to be in place for approximately two weeks.
The new pump station has been designed to increase the outflow capacity of the existing Orchard Circuit pump station that serves both the Orchard Circuit and Pine Park Estates. The primary objective of this project is to mitigate the occurrence of storm water inundation occurring to the streets adjoining Orchard Circuit after significant storm events.
Council would like to thank residents and road users for their patience and cooperation whilst these essential works are carried out.
