To be held at the Shepparton squash courts in Archer Street from August 18-21, the PSA M5 event features a highly competitive field boasting players from 14 different countries.
The list of contenders for the title are set to be headed by top seed, Arthur Gaskin. The Irishman has a world ranking of 96 and has been competing on the PSA tour for 12 years. The 31-year-old is a four-time Irish national champion with over 100 Ireland caps, and has won two PSA tour titles.
Top seed for the Australian contingent is Rohan Toole, who sits at 243 in the world rankings. An up-and-coming player, Toole was recently selected in the Australian Team for the World University Games to be held in September.
Along with the top grade professional competition, there will be a number of graded events - open to players of all abilities - on the Saturday and Sunday, providing an opportunity for local players to shine.

The Shepparton International main draw will commence on Friday 19 August with two rounds of play commencing at 10am and 6pm, two rounds on Saturday 20 August at 10am and 5pm, and the finals on Sunday 21 August from 3.45pm. Qualification matches will be held on Thursday 18 August from 6pm. Entry is free and spectators are welcome!
