Greater Shepparton City Council is set to begin renewal works on the shared pathway along the levee bank behind Princess Park Oval, running adjacent to the Goulburn River.
To ensure public safety, the shared path will be closed throughout the works (from 7.30am Wednesday 4 June to 4.30pm Wednesday 11 June 2025), which will see 140 metres of aging asphalt pathway renewed to improve safety, usability, and enjoyment for the entire community.
Detour signage will be installed on-site to guide pedestrians, cyclists, and other pathway users along an alternate route — as shown in the detour map on the right.
Council is asking all users to please be mindful of the changed conditions when navigating this area and thanks the community for its patience and understanding during these essential works.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Council’s Projects Department on 5832 9700 or email projects@shepparton.vic.gov.au
