Consultation on the Revenue and Rating Plan 2021-2025 is open on the Shaping Greater Shepp website and will close on Sunday 9 May.
This is your final chance to have your say on how rate revenue can be distributed in the fairest and most equitable way across properties within the municipality, and how fees and charges can be determined.
Acting Director Corporate Services Matt Jarvis said “We want to hear from as many people as possible, the more community contributions we receive, the more informed Council decisions can be.”
Greater Shepparton community members can head to the Shaping Greater Shepp website for more details on completing the Revenue and Rating Plan survey. There is also the ability to calculate how different rating strategies affect your rates. By using our online rates calculator you are able to make more informed choices.
“The website provides a portal for community members to have their say about how rates are distributed as well as how Council generates other forms of revenue. All feedback received will be considered when developing the Revenue and Rating Plan.,” said Mr Jarvis.
Consultation closes on the Shaping Greater Shepp website on Sunday 9 May.
