Greater Shepparton City Council advises residents that a section of Old Dookie Road, between Clarke Street and Lockwood Road, will be closed for three weeks to accommodate the installation of a new watermain and an upgraded pavement.
The road closure will be in place from Monday 19 June 2023 until Friday 7 July 2023.
Andrew Fairley Avenue, which is currently closed between Lockwood Road and the Knight Street, Railway Parade, Hawdon Street intersection, will reopen to traffic on Monday 19 June.
Detours will be in place during the works. Motorists are reminded to be aware of changed traffic conditions and take additional care when travelling in the area.
Access to SPC, local homes, businesses and the adjacent carpark will be maintained while the works are underway. Pedestrian access will also be maintained.
