Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise the community of shared path construction works along the Goulburn Valley Highway, near Lauriston Estate in north Shepparton.
In Summary
The North Shepparton Growth Corridor shared path works will commence on Wednesday 19 June 2024, with construction expected to take 10 weeks, weather permitting. This new section of shared path will be between Providence Estate and Grace Road, located within the road reserve alongside the Goulburn Valley Highway, north Shepparton (in front of St Luke’s Catholic Primary School).
During the construction period there will be temporary 40 km/h speed restrictions in place along the Goulburn Valley Highway, from Harvard Drive to Grace Road between 7.30am and 5.00pm. Delays are to be expected throughout this location.
Access to St Luke’s Catholic Primary School will be maintained at all times, with traffic control in place at the construction area along the Goulburn Valley Highway. Council would like to thank motorists, the north Shepparton community, schools and businesses for their patience and cooperation while these works are underway.
For further information about the works, please contact Council’s Projects team on projects@shepparton.vic.gov.au or phone (03) 5832 9700.
