The Greater Shepparton Business Centre (GSBC) is proud to be part of Victoria’s Small Business Festival during August 2013.
This year, a north east specific festival has been developed in partnership with a number of organisations from across the region.
The festival features an extensive program of business events providing inspiration, ideas and information for anyone starting or building a business.
The annual festival comprises more than 350 individual events held in venues throughout metropolitan, regional and rural Victoria.
Greater Shepparton Mayor Jenny Houlihan said there were a number of seminars to be hosted in Greater Shepparton including online strategy and content, marketing, business development and networking opportunities.
"I encourage small business owners to get involved in the festival and take the opportunity to hear from some experts in their fields or even just network with other small business operators," Cr Houlihan said.
"As a small business owner myself, I see the value in these types of events as a way to build and update your skills and share ideas with other like-minded people.
"For those who are time-poor and can't get to the events, there is also a series of webinars running throughout the festival."
The North East Small Business Festival is a collaboration between GSBC, Indigo Shire, Wodonga Chamber of Commerce and Fraser Jeffrey Finance.
Events are also being provided by GoTafe, 10 X, Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and VECCI.
