Greater Shepparton City Council advises that Furphy Park, located on MacIntosh Street, Shepparton, will be temporarily closed to the public from Monday 17 June to accommodate essential maintenance work.
The maintenance will involve the removal of the current playground fence and equipment and the installation of new, upgraded facilities.
Council aims to complete the works within approximately seven days to minimise any inconvenience. During this period, the park will be securely fenced off, with gates locked to ensure public safety. Clear signage will be placed around the perimeter to keep everyone informed.
Council thanks residents for their patience and support as they work to improve our community facilities and look forward to unveiling the improved playground soon.
For further information, please contact Council on 5832 9700.
