VicRoads would like to advise motorists travelling through the Goulburn Valley Highway to expect potential delays due to the transport of over-dimensional loads, with one travelling through the region on Thursday 5 November and the other on Friday 6 November, 2015.
Originating in Bendigo, VicRoads Transport Safety Services (TSS) will be escorting the 150 tonne loads carrying mining equipment, through the Goulburn Valley Region along the Midland Highway near Stanhope and the outskirts of Tatura to reach the Echuca-Mooroopna Road.
The convoy will then continue onto the Murray Valley Highway travelling through Nathalia, Strathmerton, and Yarroweyah, where it will then head north on the Goulburn Valley Highway to Tocumwal.
It is anticipated that each load will commence its journey from Bendigo between 9:00am and 9:30 am on both days and motorists are advised that there may be traffic disruptions due to their size.
VicRoads urges drivers to take care around the over-dimensional vehicle and escort vehicles, and follow any directions given by TSS officers.
VicRoads thanks the community in advance for their cooperation and patience during the transportation of this over-sized load.
