Upcoming roadworks along Railway Parade, Shepparton

Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise of upcoming roadworks along Railway Parade in Shepparton.

In Summary

  • Roadworks along Railway Parade, Shepparton, will be carried out in two stages on 12 and 13 June 2025.
  • Stage 1 will take place Thursday evening between High Street and Stewart Street; Stage 2 on Friday during the day between Stewart Street and Fryers Street.
  • Each section will be closed to traffic during works, with pedestrian footpath access and property access maintained.
  • Council thanks the community for their patience and urges all road users to follow signage and traffic controller directions.

The works will be undertaken in two stages:

  • Stage 1 – Thursday 12 June 2025 - Evening along Railway Parade, between High Street and Stewart Street, between the hours of 5.30pm and 10.30pm.
  • Stage 2 – Friday 13 June 2025 - Daytime along Railway Parade, between Stewart Street and Fryers Street, between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm.

Each section of Railway Parade will be closed to traffic, travelling in both directions, during the works. The footpath access will remain accessible to pedestrians.

The street will re-open to traffic at the end of each stage listed above, weather permitting.

Road users and pedestrians are asked to follow all on site signage and direction provided by traffic controllers, with access to properties maintained during the works.
