Upcoming traffic management works in Shepparton
Posted on
Thursday 11th of December, 2025,
Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise that Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) works are programmed for multiple streets and roads throughout Shepparton, from January to June 2026.
Works consist of the updating of signage and installation of raised pedestrian crossings, compact roundabouts, speed humps and speed cushions.
The goal of the Shepparton Inner North LATM project is to make local streets safer and easier to use for everyone including drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists by reducing congestion, improving intersections, and creating better walking and cycling paths.
To facilitate the works, there may be intermittent traffic delays affecting the nominated streets and roads. Council is working closely with all contractors to minimise disruption and traffic management will be in place while the works are undertaken.
Access will be maintained to residents, businesses, and community facilities on streets where works are taking place, however delays may be expected.
Council requests that motorists be aware of the conditions and take additional care when travelling in these areas. Council would like to thank residents for their patience whilst the project is completed.
