Greater Shepparton City Council is continuing design and upgrade works to Welsford Street, with Stage 4 of the Welsford Street Redevelopment progressing well.
Council reminds commuters that disruptions in the area will continue and to allow more time to reach their destination. Where appropriate, use Watt Road as an alternative route to Kialla and Shepparton.
Please remember school is back from Monday 30 January 2023, increasing traffic in the area.
Be aware that Fryers Street and Marungi Street near the intersection, are currently closed.
Completion of the Stage 4 works is anticipated in March 2023. The works are designed to improve traffic flow along Welsford Street and will result in better traffic movement.
Council would like to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation.
For further information contact Greater Shepparton City Council on 5832 9700.
