Greater Shepparton City Council is excited to announce that Youth Fest 2025 is officially underway, bringing a vibrant line-up of free and low-cost events to young people throughout the month of September.
Youth Fest, formerly known as Victorian Youth Week, has grown into a dynamic, youth-led and youth-focused initiative supporting young people aged 12 to 25. The festival is open to all and offers a welcoming environment where young people can try something new, connect with others and get involved in their local community.
Designed around the interests and ideas of young people, Youth Fest aims to strengthen wellbeing, build confidence and create a sense of belonging. Events are held across the region, with activities tailored to a range of interests, abilities and age groups.
This year’s program features a diverse mix of creative, cultural, digital, physical and social experiences. Activities include music performances, mindfulness sessions, hands-on art and craft workshops, digital technology, youth competitions and more.
Greater Shepparton Youth Fest 2025 is being delivered in partnership with local youth organisations, Council departments, GV Libraries and Victorian State Government’s Amplify program.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said Youth Fest plays a key role in creating spaces where young people feel supported and heard.
