2020 Australia Day - Toolamba Celebrations

There will be a flag raising ceremony done by the Lions Club.

Our local Toolamba Choir sing the national anthem. Our keynote speakers are our Australia Day Ambassador Lindy Allen and Council representative, we present awards and then have a free BBQ with cold drinks.

In the afternoon, we hold our annual bush bowls event in the park where we have up to 20 teams enter every year.

This is a free event for the community of all ages and we have prizes to give away to winning teams. We also run small games for younger children and they all receive a small prize for participating.

Ambassador: Ms Lindy Allen

Lindy Allen has been involved in the arts industry for the better part of four decades. She has brought this experience to bear as CEO of both Regional Arts Victoria and Regional Arts Australia. Lindy continues to leverage her experience to help other artists via her independent consultancy Living- Proof Media.
