Greater Shepparton City Council is restricting access for non-essential personnel, including spectators and transport operators, at the point of sale within the Saleyards until further notice.
All sale attendees are to sign the attendance register prior to a sale – please see saleyard staff for assistance.
“We are working closely with the Stock Agents Association to keep the saleyards open as long as possible as it is an important service supporting our community,” said Director Infrastructure, Phil Hoare.
“Council places the highest priority on the health and wellbeing of the community and its staff at all times, and despite some closures, important services will continue to be provided particularly for the most vulnerable members of our community.”
“If you need to attend the saleyards please practice social distancing and good hygiene,” said Mr Hoare.
