ELFRED

Brindle & White Deerhound

Elfred (D250008)

Meet Elfred, a quiet, older gentleman with a brindle and white coat, looking for a peaceful place to retire and live out his golden years. At 10 years old, Elfred was surrendered because he struggled to adjust from a rural property to a smaller residential area. Despite this, he’s a sweet, calm dog who enjoys the company of other dogs and has no issues with cats. Elfred enjoys pats and affection but is not particularly interested in toys or very food motivated. He will benefit from leash training and some basic obedience, as he currently has no recall.

Ideal Home:

Elfred would thrive in a quiet, spacious environment where he can enjoy his senior years. He will need a large yard or, ideally, a rural property with secure fencing, as he needs space to roam and be comfortable. Due to his size and age, Elfred has osteoarthritis, which doesn’t cause him major issues at the moment but may require some extra care as he ages. He’s best suited to a home with older children or no children, as his size may be overwhelming to younger ones. Elfred is looking for a loving, calm home where he can rest, be loved, and enjoy his twilight years with dignity.

Elfred is a sweet, gentle soul who simply needs a peaceful place to live out his senior years. If you’re looking for a calm companion to share your home with, and you have the space and patience to help him with his leash training, Elfred could be the perfect fit for you. Give him the quiet, loving home he deserves, and he will repay you with all the affection his heart has to offer.
