TRIXIE

Tri Colour Border Collie X Kelpie

******* ADOPTED 17/04/2025 **********

Adopt Trixie D250159! – A Beautiful and Energetic Border Collie x Kelpie Mix!

Meet Trixie, an 18-month-old tri-color Border Collie x Kelpie mix who is as smart as she is beautiful! With her striking appearance and energetic personality, Trixie is looking for an active family who can provide her with the love, training, and mental stimulation she needs to thrive.

Trixie is a very smart and food-driven girl, which makes her a quick learner when it comes to training – with the right guidance, she will excel. She is a gentle and friendly dog who enjoys being around people and gets along well with other dogs. However, due to her excitement, she does tend to jump up on people when she’s happy or for cuddles, though she’s generally well-behaved and manageable.

Trixie would do best in a home with a large yard where she can run and burn off some of her energy. She also needs plenty of mental enrichment to keep her sharp, as she thrives in environments where she can stay busy and engaged. While she’s not a big fan of toys, Trixie absolutely adores people and loves spending time with her family.

Because of her enthusiasm, Trixie would not be suitable for a home with small animals or young children, as her excitement might be a bit overwhelming at times. She’ll do best with an experienced owner who can continue her training and help her become the well-mannered companion she’s capable of being.

If you're looking for an affectionate, active, and intelligent dog who’s ready to be your new best friend, Trixie might just be the perfect match for you!

Please complete the online adoption questionnaire and include photos of your secure yard and fencing. Our shelter staff will be in touch if your application is successful to arrange a meet & greet!
