Burt is a tug-of-war champion, a zoomie expert, and a social butterfly when it comes to dogs who match his playful, bouncy energy. He’d absolutely thrive with a doggy sibling who loves to wrestle, chase, and play! But when it comes to cats, small animals, or livestock — his instincts take over, so he’ll need a home without those tempting little critters. 🐕💨
He’s a big-hearted goofball who sometimes forgets his size and enthusiasm, so he’s best suited to a home without young children. But don’t let that fool you — this boy has so much love to give. All he wants is to be part of a family who’ll cherish him for the sweet, silly soul he is.

Adoption Commitment
The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.
Adoption Guarantee
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
