Clyde is a charming 1-year-old tri-colour Jack Russell Terrier mix with a sweet nature and a friendly, easygoing personality. He’s a lovely boy who enjoys the company of other dogs and is polite and social when interacting with them. Clyde shows little interest in cats, so with slow and careful introductions, he may be able to live happily alongside feline friends.

Clyde would likely be suitable for a home with children and would thrive with a family who can offer companionship, gentle guidance, and plenty of love. He’s an affectionate, well-mannered young dog who is ready to settle into his forever home.

🐾 Medical Notes:

Clyde has an abnormality affecting the fifth (outer) digits on his back feet. On veterinary examination, these toes were noted to be shorter than normal, with dry, hairless skin around them. At this stage, the toes are not painful or inflamed, and Clyde is otherwise clinically well and considered suitable for rehoming.

The exact cause of this condition has not yet been determined. Possible causes may include a congenital deformity, previous trauma, or a skin or nail condition. No further diagnostic testing has been performed at this time. While the condition does not currently require treatment, future adopters should be comfortable with ongoing monitoring and understand that veterinary review may be recommended if changes occur.

The Shepparton Animal Shelter encourages new owners of adopted animals to consider their lifestyle and commitment carefully before adoption. We wish to see all adopted animals find their forever homes. However we understand that sometimes, an adoption does not work out. If you are no longer able to care for your adopted animal, for any reason, please contact the Shepparton Animal Shelter.

Adoption Guarantee

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is not acceptable to a purchaser because of health, physical or other reasons (excluding accidents), which is supported by a statement from a Veterinary practitioner, within seven days of purchase, the Animal Shelter will accept the animal back and refund the purchase price of the animal.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten is returned within three days for any other reason, the Animal Shelter will refund 75% of the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.

If a dog, puppy, cat or kitten dies or is euthanased as a result of a disease that is traceable to the point of sale, the Animal Shelter will refund the purchase price or offer a replacement animal with the same guarantee.
