Bach for Guitar - Starring 10 String Guitarist Matthew Fagan

A selection of Bach's cello suites arranged by Matthew for 10 String guitar and special arrangements of Bach Chorales.

Bach for Guitar

Matthew Fagan performs the lute music of the great Lutheran, Baroque composer Johann Sebastian Bach. Matthew will perform on a custom made 10 String Spanish Classical guitar, which is modelled on the baroque lute which Bach himself composed for. This instrument has 4 extra base strings which gives a rich sonority perfect for performing the music of Bach.

Pieces will feature selections from the famous violin Sonatas Bach arranged for lute. A selection of Bach's cello suites arranged by Matthew for 10 String guitar and special arrangements of Bach Chorales, including "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring".
