Intervention orders can be incredibly complex or very flexible, but most of all they can have a huge impact on the way you live your life.

This session is for those who are considering applying for an intervention order but was hoping for more information or have been subject to an intervention order or are just curious as to what intervention orders are about.

This presentation will start by unpacking how intervention orders are started either privately or by police, their life cycle and how they progress through court including the possible conditions and obligations, as well as touch briefly on what supports are available and who you can ask for help.

This is a free event. Bookings are essential for in-person attendance.

Please email gvrlc@gvlrc.vic.gov.au , or phone 1300 374 765. No booking required for Facebook Live streaming. Head to the GV Libraries Facebook page at 2pm to watch live.
