Jewellery Workshop with SAM Spotlight artist Madeline Wright.
Madeline Wright draws inspiration from her natural surroundings to create patterns that inform her jewellery practice. In this workshop participants will be guided through the process of creating their own design for a pendant, which they will then cast in silver to take home at a later date.
Participants are encouraged to take images of their surroundings on their mobile devices or bring in small hard items they can press into wax for texture, for example sticks, wood or gravel from their surrounding environments.
