The 2024 Council funded program consists of seven engaging workshops, carefully designed to build participants’ capacity across various essential topics, such as:
This comprehensive curriculum ensures that participants gain a well-rounded understanding of community leadership. The program is scheduled to kick off in May 2024, with sessions held in person, providing participants with the opportunity to fully engage with the content and network with their peers.
The 2024 program has limited availability, with only 20 places open for aspiring community leaders. Applicants must be 18 years or older and the deadline for applications is Monday 1 April 2024.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, highlighted the program’s importance in empowering community leaders.
“The program equips participants with the knowledge and tools required to become effective community leaders. Don’t miss out on this rewarding opportunity to kick-start your leadership journey,” he said.
