Are you interested in running for Council in the 2020 Election?

The Victorian Local Governance Association (VLGA) will run a free Greater Shepparton Candidate Information Session on Wednesday 29 July for those interested in running for Council during the 2020 Local Government Elections.

The workshop is designed to increase understanding of Councils and Council elections in the community, leading to more informed candidates and voters.

The session will take a holistic approach to building community leadership capacity, informing community members about Council, while covering the basics of Local Government and Election Candidacy.

The session is designed to help guide the journey from community member to candidate and potentially a Councillor.

Council strongly encourages all community members considering nominating as a candidate to attend this session.

The free session will be held via Zoom from 5.30 - 8.30pm on Wednesday 29 July. Registrations are essential. To register, click here.
