Park, Shop and Wrap this Christmas at Shepparton’s Central Business District.
Greater Shepparton City Council along with the business traders are preparing for the holiday season by launching Christmas in the Maude Street Mall this Saturday 30 November.
Experience all the magic of Christmas between 10am and 2pm with the Christmas decorations completed and on display for all to enjoy while you shop.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor Councillor Seema Abdullah said Shepparton had everything for residents and visitors to complete their Christmas shopping.
“We’re inviting all residents and visitors to the CBD these holidays to shop for all their Christmas needs,” Cr Abdullah said.
“With hundreds of retailers in Shepparton you’ll be able to find everything you need while enjoying the many free and affordable holiday themed activities.”
Don’t miss out on a visit from Santa and Rudolph this weekend, free arts and craft activities for the kids and enjoy a ride on the Carousel.
The Carousel is free to ride on and will be available in the Maude St Mall until Friday 4 January and it will be operating from 10am to 5pm daily.
“Once you’ve completed your Christmas shopping take advantage of the gift wrapping services in the Maude St Mall, for only a gold coin donation to support community groups, “ Cr Abdullah said.
GV Pet Adoption and Rehoming, GV Pride, Girl Guides and Berry Street Youth Foyer will be in the Mall offering gift wrapping services from Saturday 30 November to Tuesday 24 December.
Free and affordable Christmas activities will be available in the Maude St Mall until Friday 4 January, excluding Christmas Day.
For more information and a full list of activities occurring in the CBD head to Council’s website or Facebook page.
