Citizenship Awards events will take place throughout Greater Shepparton from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 January 2024.
Ceremonies, events and entertainment will be held in Shepparton, Murchison, Tatura, Dookie and Mooroopna.
The activities will include guest speakers, entertainment, refreshments and the presentation of the 2024 Citizenship Awards.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said the Citizenship Awards were an opportunity to recognise outstanding citizens throughout the region.
“There are so many people in our community who deserve to be acknowledged for the work they do in helping others and giving back to their towns. It is important that we recognise and celebrate these people who continually help others,” he said.
“Citizenship Awards are a tribute to the quiet achievers, the people who are willing to drop what they are doing to help someone else. We look forward to acknowledging these people at the events around the region.”
The following events will take place across Greater Shepparton:
Shepparton
Murchison
Tatura
Dookie
Mooroopna
