The Community Satisfaction Survey 2019-20 Quarter 1, which was completed by the company Thinkfield in September 2019, showed a rise in the Overall Performance of Greater Shepparton City Council.
The aim of the survey is to assess the performance of Council, and to look into ways to improve and provide better services. The survey measures how the community believes Council is performing on delivering services.
Highlights of the Quarter 1 survey included the best Overall Performance score since records began in 2012, as well as rises in Enforcement of Local Laws, Building Control, Maternal and Child Health, Disability Services and Activities, Events and Festivals and Public Swimming Pools. Positive results were also recorded in Overall Council Direction, Overall Waste Services, Overall Parks and Reserves and Customer Service.
Areas Council needs to improve as shown by the data include Animal management, Decisions made in the interest of the community, Lobbying on behalf of the community and Sealed local roads.
The Community Satisfaction Survey 2019-20 Quarter 2 will take place between Monday 2 December and Monday 16 December.
