Shoppers in the Shepparton central business district will have an additional incentive to shop locally and support local business this Christmas period with complimentary car parking being offered in Council-owned parking spaces for December 2020 and January 2021.
Time limits still apply for the parking spaces during this period and infringements will be issued if you overstay the time displayed on the signs for the area.
Complimentary parking begins on 1 December 2020 and ends on 31 January 2021, with paid on-street parking beginning again on 1 February 2021.
If you want to do your Christmas shopping in the CBD you will be able to do so without having to pay for parking in council owned car parks. Take note of the street parking signs as time limits apply.
If however you have a big day of shopping planned, parking in an off-street longer stay car park or parking in an all-day space close to the CBD would be the best option.
The complimentary parking does not apply to the Multi Deck carpark, GV Health or Carepark carparks.
For more information, including a map of parking areas please visit our parking page.
