Greater Shepparton City Council will be providing complimentary car parking in Council-owned on street parking spaces during December and January to support local businesses and bring some festive cheer to the CBD.
Time limits still apply for the parking spaces during this period and infringements will be issued if you overstay the time displayed on the signs for the area.
Complimentary parking begins on 1 December 2023 and ends on 31 January 2024, returning to paid on-street parking again on 1 February 2024.
During this time, when you support our local businesses in the CBD you will be able to do so without having to pay for parking in Council owned on street car parks. Take note of the street parking signs as time limits apply.
If however you have a big day of shopping planned, parking in an off-street longer stay car park or parking in an all-day space close to the CBD would be the best option, these off-street car parks are complimentary all year round.
The complimentary parking does not apply to the Multi Deck car park, GV Health or Carepark car parks.
For more information, including a map of parking areas please visit our parking page.
