Council launches free mobile app to enhance community connection

Greater Shepparton City Council is excited to announce the launch of its new mobile app, designed to improve the way residents and visitors connect with Council and the community.

Created internally by Council’s Digital Media team, the app is free to download and offers a variety of useful features including:  

  • Community updates: Stay informed with the latest news, consultations, and Council initiatives.
  • Bin collection: Never miss a bin collection day with the handy calendar feature, plus learn about the best waste disposal methods.
  • Events and activities: Explore the wide variety of exciting events and entertainment on offer across the region.
  • Service requests: Report issues and share your feedback and ideas directly with Council.
  • Visitor information: Discover where to dine and shop.
  • Parking and public transport: Quickly access the latest parking and public transport information.

Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Shane Sali, expressed his excitement about the launch of the Greater Shepp app, emphasising Council’s commitment to enhancing community engagement and communication.

“This app provides a streamlined and user-friendly way for locals and visitors to interact directly with Council and stay updated on community events, projects, and initiatives. I encourage everyone to download the app and explore its useful features.”

The Greater Shepparton mobile app is now available to download on the Apple App Store and Android’s Google Play Store.
