Greater Shepparton City Council released the draft Central Park Master Plan for public exhibition and comment at the May Ordinary Council Meeting.
The draft plan will be open for comment for a period of 28 days, commencing on Wednesday 22 May 2019 and concluding on Wednesday 19 June 2019.
The document considers the needs and expectations of the local community, Council’s priorities for improving liveability of the Greater Shepparton community and the condition and functionality of the reserve.
A detailed background report has been prepared including a Landscape Master Plan summarising the key priorities for the recreation reserve which include:
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Kim O’Keeffe, encouraged locals to voice their opinions.
“Central Park Recreation Reserve plays a pivotal role in the provision of open space, sport, recreation, community and event opportunities for the local community,” Cr O’Keeffe said.
“I encourage Greater Shepparton residents to have their say.”
