Installation of the Greater Shepparton festive decorations is scheduled to commence this week, starting with the Season’s Greetings banners in the Maude Street Mall.
It is anticipated that all decorations located in the Shepparton Central Business District will be installed by the end of next week (weather permitting).
Some of this year’s decorations include a giant Santa, the large PEACE sign at Aquamoves, large LED stars, the Merry Moos, ground decals, bin decals, seat wraps, town entry flags, banners and a giant Christmas tree. There will be a Santa’s mailbox in the mall where letters can be posted to Santa.

Part of the festive decorations includes the large wooden present boxes to be installed in both the CBD and small towns that the Tallygaroopna Men’s Shed have refreshed with new bows.
Next week, decorations will be placed in Murchison, Tatura and Mooroopna.
The full suite of Council Christmas decorations will be installed by the first week of December.
The decommissioning of Christmas decorations will occur from 2 January 2019.
