Local food producers are encouraged to get involved as stallholders in the local food hub zone at KidsFest.
The food hub zone, which will showcase local food and produce is a new initiative at KidsFest and aligns with the redeveloped fruit bin maze.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s Director Community Kaye Thomson encouraged local businesses to get involved.
“More than 40 per cent of KidsFest attendance is from outside our region, so this is an opportunity to showcase local produce to a wide audience,” Ms Thomson said.
“We are seeking local businesses who are interested in showcasing their local food business within the Food Hub Zone to our many visitors that attend KidsFest each and every year.”
KidsFest is on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September at SPC KidsTown and food stall holders will need to commit to being in attendance for both days. For more information, phone SPC KidsTown on 5831 4213, or visit www.sheppkidsfest.com.au
