Greater Shepparton City Council in partnership with Visit Shepparton will be heading to Motorclassica in Melbourne for the second year in a row on Friday, October 13 to position and promote the destination as a motoring capital and the many great things we have to offer to over 20,000 visitors that are expected to attend the exhibition.
They will be co-exhibiting at the classic car event with the Shepparton Motor Museum and Maskells Customs and Classic. At the stand will be XBOSS, a Great Eight finalist for the Ridler Award at the 2016 Detroit Autorama and arguably the greatest modified car ever built in Australia.
More than 70 other exhibitors will display their products and services over the two levels of the Royal Exhibition Building. With special class marques Ferrari, Holden, Lancia, Vintage Speedway and Moto Guzzi, Motorclassica promises to be a super show with 117 cars and 52 motorcycles in competition, 33 cars/motorcycles for auction and more than 400 cars displayed over three days.
The exhibition will allow Shepparton to promote our region to a wide variety of industry and motoring enthusiast’s which will hopefully lead to an increase in visitation to the region in the future.
Motorclassica opens its doors on Friday morning at 9am until Sunday at the Royal Exhibition Building, Carlton. Any locals heading down to Melbourne for the event are encouraged to check out our stand.
