Greater Shepparton City Council would like to hear your thoughts on the Draft Affordable Housing Strategy 2019. The Strategy is being developed to support disadvantaged households and to push for more affordable housing development.

Come along to one of three Community Drop-In Sessions to discuss the Draft Greater Shepparton Affordable Housing Strategy 2019.  The sessions will be held:

  • 3-6pm on Monday 18 November 2019 at the South Shepparton Community Centre, 11 Service Street, Shepparton
  • 10am-12pm on Tuesday 19 November 2019 at the South Shepparton Community Centre, 11 Service Street, Shepparton
  • 10am-12pm and 3-6pm on Thursday 21 November 2019 at the North Shepparton Community and Learning Centre, 10-14 Parkside Drive, Shepparton

It also talks about shortfalls of housing such as one and two bedroom dwellings.

Future work will focus on young people, older people, women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, and people with a disability who struggle to get affordable housing
