These September school holidays will see the return of KidsFest, a family favourite event for locals and visitors alike.
Spread over two big days, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September at SPC KidsTown on the Causeway between Shepparton and Mooroopna, the event plays host to a wide range of entertainment and educational activities aimed at families with children between the ages of one and 12.
This year will see the return of popular attraction Wild Action, the Zoo that comes to you who have been a part of KidsFest several times over the last 11 years. There will also be lots of fun activities to keep the kids entertained including face painting, giant board games, beach volleyball, sporting activities, garden crafts and cooking workshops, singing and dancing and much more.
As usual the miniature train rides will be running, the GV Wood Workers will have a workshop and there will be a jumping castle and sideshow alley for the whole family.
KidsFest is now in its twelfth year and has established itself as a fun packed event for the whole family. KidsFest is great value family entertainment and there is something for everyone, so check out the KidsFest website for more information.
Entry is $2.00 per person and the event runs between 10.00am and 4.00pm both days. Some activities and rides will have a ticket cost. There will also be a free shuttle bus service as parking is limited.
KidsFest is also taking applications for volunteers to help with a number of roles during the festival.
More information regarding this as well as further information about the event can be obtained from the team at KidsTown on 5831 4213 or via the website at www.sheppkidsfest.com.au
