The 23rd Anniversary celebrations of the Shepparton SpringNats are making a welcome return to the Shepparton Showgrounds this weekend. local motorists are advised of the following changes to some local road access to accommodate the festival's activities.
Williams Road – Thompson Street to Archer Street
The Southern side of the Williams Rd will be closed to traffic from 9 am Friday 27, November until 8 pm Sunday, 29 November. There will be no parking on either side of Williams Rd.
Archer Street
The left-hand turning lane into Williams Rd will be closed from 9 am Friday 27 November to 8 pm Sunday 29 November.
Thompson Street – Williams Road to High Street
Both lanes of Thompson St will be closed to traffic from 9 am Friday, 27 November to 8 pm Sunday, 29 November.
STREET CRUISE PARADE on Saturday, 28 November
Departing from the Showgrounds at 4 .30pm. Full rolling road closure along Fryers Street until parade reaches the corner of Maude Street (approx. 30 min).
Vehicles will hold a static display in this location and roads affected are as follows:
• Fryers Street between Maude Street and GV Water
• Maude Street between Edward and Fryers Street
This area will be closed to traffic between 4.30 pm – approx. 7 pm. Vehicles will return to the Showgrounds again under rolling road closure until 7 pm approx.
