Maude Street heats up for return of the Summer City Market

Shepparton is set to welcome the return of one of the city’s favourite events, the Summer City Market, offering two big days of summer savings across the city on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 February.

Although this year will look different to others, our local traders are ready to welcome you back to the CBD and explore all the local offerings.

Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor Councillor Kim O’Keeffe said there would be great promotions on offer across the whole CBD.

“Our local businesses need the support of the community.  I encourage shoppers to get out and find a bargain, the Summer City Market will have fashion, homewares, jewellery and much more on sale throughout the event and unique market stalls, roving live music and food vendors, so treat yourself to a great day out and support our local businesses,” Cr O’Keeffe said.

This year as part of the Summer City Market offering, the Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be offering free parking at the multi deck car park on Friday.

The Summer City Market will adhere to Covid-19 safe regulations, for the health and safety of the community entry to Maude Street Mall will be fenced off and kept at a limited capacity. Attendees must check in via QR code on arrival and maintain a 1.5m distance. If you are feeling unwell we advise you not to attend.

The Summer City Market is on at Maude St Mall, Friday 26 February 9am – 6pm and Saturday 27 February 9am – 4pm.
