Greater Shepparton is currently sitting 4th in the challenge, with 44 Victorian Councils taking part.
Greater Shepparton Mayor, Cr Dinny Adem, encouraged local residents to donate blood.
“It is important that as many people as possible take the opportunity to donate blood. It doesn’t take long and you are saving lives in the process.” Cr Adem said.
