Dig deep for the The Invisible Mo Men - Movember 2015

Since November 1, a number of staff members from Aquamoves and council's Active Living department have been growing their moustaches for Movember.

Tim Dooling, Thomas Van De Berg, James Harrison, Steve Wilson, Ben Maude, Jack O'Brien, Graham Walkden, Paul Elshaug and Tony Tranter formed the The Invisible Mo Men (TIMM) team and have all has varied success in growing their moustaches to raise money for men's health programs.

Tim Dooling - Aquamoves Duty Supervisor Operations Portfolio. My mo is something from the 70s and I’ve grown attached to it, as it supports me though the tough times and is a great convo starter.

Jack O’Brien - Aquamoves Duty Supervisor. Lush!

Paul Elshaug – Active Living Project Manager. As my mate put it – there are catfish with better growth than this. Or – Friendly, good sense of humour, loves sport, enjoys the outdoors, music and movies. Or – Subtle, neither quality or quantity.

Ben Maude – Seasonal Outdoor pools Workgroup Coordinator. Myself and Greg (my mo) have grown close these past few weeks. Greg is flamboyant, fun and attractive. It will be sad to see him go next week.

James Harrison - Aquamoves Marketing Officer. I think my manager summed it up best when she said ‘you’ve made a great sacrifice by growing whatever that is above your lip.’

Steve Wilson – Leisure Facilities Team Leader. It’s the Mo that I just had to grow. At the start I thought about calling him Jo, but I’ve ended up going with Henry the Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Thomas Van de Berg - Indoor Sports Facilities Duty Supervisor. Blonde mo’s are very unflattering.

Tony Tranter – Active Living Manager Humiliating

Movember is the annual month long fundraiser where men are sponsored to grow a moustache in support of the biggest health issues affecting men. These include prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
