Minor works – Old Dookie Road / Andrew Fairley Avenue intersection

From Monday 27 November, a Council engaged contractor will be completing minor rectification works to the Old Dookie Road / Andrew Fairley Avenue intersection, following the major upgrade completed earlier this year.

The works will involve raising four concrete lids to better match the road surface. It is anticipated works will take three to five days to complete.

The intersection will remain open throughout the works, but will involve strict traffic control to provide the required safety for road workers and motorists.

Speed reductions will be in place and, whilst no roads will close, motorists will not be able to make the following two right turns:

  • No right turn into SPC from Andrew Fairley Avenue
  • No right turn into Andrew Fairley Avenue from Old Dookie Road

Please plan your journey and/or follow the signed detours to suit these restrictions. All roads are open and accessible from alternate directions despite the two right turn restrictions listed above.

Access to local businesses, residents, SPC and SPC carparks will remain throughout the duration of the rectification works.

If you have any further queries about the works, please contact Council’s Project team on projects@shepparton.vic.gov.au or phone (03) 5832 9700.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their cooperation.
